When we aren’t working on websites as YourPlanB.com, we are supporting the spooky scene with SpookyInc.com (Spooky stuff for spooky people!).  And this past weekend we were invited as Press to check out all the booths, events and artists at C2E2.

The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo is a Chicago fan convention dedicated to comics, pop culture, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies, and television.

Founded on Halloween night 1996, GothicChicago.com (now called Spooky Inc) provided listings of restaurants and shops and events that were friendly to the Gothic/Alternative community for over 20 years. Join SpookyInc as we unbox the first of four Limited Edition, individually numbered figures sculpted by Sam Greenwell based on one of our favourite artists, Sho Murase from DC Collectables We first met Sho at Wizard World here in Chicago and have seen her grow to have shows at Underground at Disneyland and now DC Artist’s Alley has used her art to create a 3D fully realized figure based on her drawings. http://shomurase.com

The Audience Choice Award will be awarded to the Audience Choice Finalist who receives the most Votes during the Audience Choice Award Voting Phase.

When is the voting?

Audience Choice Award Voting Phase of the Contest will open on 12:00 p.m. P.T. on November 2, 2018, and continue until 11:59 p.m. P.T. on November 13, 2018

During the Audience Choice Award Voting Phase, individuals will be able to vote for their favorite Audience Choice Finalist (including their own Submission, if it is an Audience Choice Finalist). Individuals can vote by registering and logging on to the Website and following the directions on how to vote for his/her favorite Audience Choice Finalist (“Vote”). In each Genre, the eligible Audience Choice Finalist that receives the highest number of valid Votes during the Audience Choice Award Voting Phase will be determined as the potential Audience Choice Award winner for that Genre pending verification. Limit: one (1) Vote per person per Audience Choice Finalist per day.

We are so excited about the new set of Batman the Animated Series episode “GIRLS NIGHT OUT” 5 pack and Catwoman toys – recently arrived in the lab from Amazon.com

These amazing sculpts reminded us how much we enjoyed watching the original series when it first aired. Catwoman’s figure also arrived with replaceable hands – very cool in “just a toy”!

Ghost Relations Department’s Ghost Post Box #2

“The Great Unraveling May End“… reads the headline on the latest edition of the Grim Gazette.  Haunted Mansion’s Second Ghost Post box arrived!  We are so excited to share the unboxing with you.

Included in the 2nd box:

  • The most recent edition of the Grim Gazette (the most trusted tabloid of the afterlife)
  • A music box, modeled on our Mansion’s very own pipe organ
  • A phenakistoscope – conceived by the ghosts to be constructed to their specifications
  • A fine drawing featuring some of the doors of our esteemed Mansion
  • Blueprints displaying some of the rooms our haunts inhabit
  • Additional divination cards reproduced from the deck of the great Madame Leota

We cannot wait for the final box to arrive so we can solve the mystery of the “Great Unraveling” and help the ghosts follow us home once again.  Each item in the box offered clues and hints from the ghosts to us, not-so-foolish mortals.  The Phantom Radio app (iPhone only) offered even more hints on uncovering more clues from each of the items with unique codes.  And we have confirmation that there are three spooky tasks to complete in the Disneyland park should you choose!
