New Allies and New Villains in Star Wars Rebels Season Two (11:00 AM – Noon)

Location: Celebration Stage / The Arena

Get a sneak peek at the second season of Disney XD’s animated hit series Star Wars Rebels, which continues the epic adventures of the crew of the Ghost and further reveals the early days of the rebellion against the Empire. Dave Filoni (Executive Producer, Supervising Director), Freddie Prinze, Jr. (Kanan), Vanessa Marshall (Hera), Tiya Sircar (Sabine), Steve Blum (Zeb), Taylor Gray (Ezra) and other special guests will discuss the startling story developments revealed at the end of season one and offer some can’t-miss exclusive previews of what’s to come in season two!

*This panel is open to all Celebration attendees. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. We CANNOT guarantee seating unless you have heard otherwise from your respective series contact.

Star Wars Rebels Press Conference (12:30 PM – 1:30 PM)

Star Wars Rebels Season Two Global Premiere Screening (5:00pm – 6:30pm)

Location: Digital Stage (3rd Floor) / Ballroom 300

Witness the global premiere of Star Wars Rebels season two, which launches a whole new set of adventures for the Ghost crew and hints at the challenges to come under the shadow of their new adversary, Darth Vader. Attendees will be the first to see the two-part second season premiere following an encore screening of the thrilling season one finale.

*This screening is open to all Celebration attendees. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. We CANNOT guarantee seating unless you have heard otherwise from your respective series contact.

Wizard World Comic Con Chicago Photos!

Holy cow was this weekend a fun blur of costumes, shopping, movies, celebrities, friends, panels and more!  Thanks to the folks at Wizard World Comic Con – where pop culture comes to life – our weekend was GREAT!  View photos on our Flickr account.
Highlights include:

  1. Tales of Halloween movie (go see this when it comes out!)
  2. Celebrity sightings from Bruce Campbell to Caroll Spinney to Jason David Frank to Nathan Fillion to Norman Reedus and more!
  3.  Awesome vendors like Tea and Absinthe with their Doc Who teas, the pin-up art of AntLucia.com and the Hardcore Hearse Club vehicles.

Waaay back in 1988, I started an annual birthday party called “The Funeral Party” with my friend Mish!
It continued for many years throughout the ’90’s all over the city – Goth Bowling, Graveyard Tours, Dancing, Dinners at Little Bucharest and so much more! Photos 😉  At some point the party was too big to manage and went to ground…  wouldn’t it be fun to start it up again???

As we get closer to the 20th Anniversary of SpookyInc.com (aka GothicChicago.com), we are sharing memories and photos highlighting the last 20 years. Celebrate with us by posting yours with #SPOOKYINC20

Convergence started here in Chicago!  It is an annual goth music festival that travels around the world.  And it is so much fun!  We met lifelong friends (like Zoe + Stewart from England xoxo), saw awesome live bands and explored what the host city had to offer.  This was our first Convergence outside of Chicago and we fell in love with Toronto 🙂  Were you there too?
