We have something for everyone, from a Show Floor packed with top exhibitors, autograph sessions, panels, screening rooms, exclusives, After Dark events and a massive Artist Alley. If you’ve always dreamed of attending the biggest geek party in the Midwest, then look no further. This is your weekend to get wild and be free with other nerdy Chicagoans. Resident DJ’s – DJ Sonic Marchesa and DJ CarrieMonster play all Bowie (career spanning)/ Related Artists/influences/ friends and musicians influenced by the Thin White Duke. Mr. Bowie has a lot of friends so the music videos are always interesting! Music Videos and clips all night.

An evening featuring goth club classics and new dark alternative music with DJ Philly Peroxide spinning goth, darkwave, post-punk, ethereal, 4AD, shoegaze, coldwave & more.
Bittersweet is now in its 9th year and is devoted entirely to goth (no industrial/ebm at this night) with an emphasis on new/current music. Requests, as always, are welcome.

The International Museum of Surgical Science is housed in a historic mansion on Lake Shore Drive. It features exhibits from around the world that trace the fascinating story of surgery’s development through the ages. The Museum’s collections, appropriate for grades 5 and up, include art and artifacts that deal with surgery as well as history, science, health, and cultural studies.
For the first time in the U.S., international artists are teaming up with the Chicago Botanic Garden to create installations for Lightscape, a new, one-of-a-kind event this holiday season.
Wander into an enchanted, after-dark world of wonder and light. Along a mile-long illuminated trail, the night comes alive with color, imagination, and sound, from a playful choir of singing trees to a garden of fire, fragrant with frankincense.
Get lost in the immersive hanging ribbons of light or stop for a photo in the sparkling tunnel of light before toasting marshmallows over an open fire for delicious s’mores.
Enjoy festive foods like 9-vegetable chili, bacon mac & cheese, or a sweet treat like holiday spiced cupcakes and cinnamon rolls.
Delicious seasonal drinks—including peppermint schnapps hot chocolate, spiced apple cider, spiced chai, peppermint lattes, and Baileys hot chocolate—will also be available.
Nocturna, now in its 31st year, is an 18+ dark alternative dance night held once every other month in Chicago. DJ Scary Lady Sarah spins a highly request-driven mix of current & classic goth, industrial, post-punk, deathrock, ethereal, shoegaze, new wave, ebm, darkwave, dark indie & more. Come dance until dawn!
