Looking forward to the fun next year in Chicago! In the meantime, check out WWCC in a city near you!

Waaay back in 1988, I started an annual birthday party called “The Funeral Party” with my friend Mish!
It continued for many years throughout the ’90’s all over the city – Goth Bowling, Graveyard Tours, Dancing, Dinners at Little Bucharest and so much more! Photos 😉 At some point the party was too big to manage and went to ground… wouldn’t it be fun to start it up again???

Convergence started here in Chicago! It is an annual goth music festival that travels around the world. And it is so much fun! We met lifelong friends (like Zoe + Stewart from England xoxo), saw awesome live bands and explored what the host city had to offer. This was our first Convergence outside of Chicago and we fell in love with Toronto 🙂 Were you there too?

Another year, another Convergence (goth music festival). This time in Las Vegas! What a combination – awesome music + great friends + Vegas 😉 Remember that guy that gave us a $100 bill for just answering his question about our clothes LOL

Back when NEO was on Clark Street – DJ Dave Roberts and Kristine hosted a extravagant”BatCave” night! It drew the regulars and newbies out for dancing, drinking and looking fantastic! More photos 🙂

Flashback Weekend – Chicago Horror Convention – continues to entertain – visit flashbackweekend.com for the latest updates for upcoming events. However, back in 2005, none other than BRUCE CAMPBELL, was at the event (and we all know how much I love the man with the chin). What a honor to meet him in person (*fans self*). Friends came from all over to experience the outdoor movie night. See more photos!

Bat’s Day in the Fun Park (another ongoing event you should not miss, check out batsday.net for upcoming details) had been around a few years but we just kept missing it on our visits to California. But in 2006 everything lined up perfect and we got to be part of the Goth meet up at the park. Over 2000 of us! What a great way to experience Disneyland with so many friends wandering around looking fabulous. (Thanks to NoahK!)
