I take original images from the early 1900’s, make new monsters and environments and superimpose the photos to look like the photos are still from that era. I’ve recently started making mini graveyards and terrariums that I call terrorariums and cemetariums.
When we heard this would be the last Bat’s Day Weekend, we knew we had to go and show our support! (Good news – the annual meet up will continue on, just not the entire weekend of events – whew!)
This Bat’s Day was full of friends, fun, corsets, parasols, meet ups, new friends and of course, many rides on the Haunted Mansion.
As someone who frequently has nightmares, the curator of this Instagram account #sweetdreamfuel decided to start sending herself to sleep with a fair shot at more pleasant dreams by focusing on a piece of artwork created by a favorite artist of hers beforehand. The pieces she selects are often also indicative of her mood at the time, because thank goodness for intense, resonant art feels.

Born out of frustration with being seated in the back of a restaurant because we looked too “Goth” (aka “weird”) – we decided to share Goth-friendly locations and events in Chicago and eventually worldwide online. The scene has grown – Goth is in the malls, Cosplay is all the rage and the world is a little smaller (and more wonderful) due to social media. To celebrate 20 years of spooky stuff for spooky people, this 46 page, full colour book shares highlights from 1996-2016.
We have made the commitment as of 2016 to move forward only producing vegan products. We are working hard to make sure we purchase cruelty free raw materials and that our manufactures hold the same standards.
We love feedback, so please feel free to contact us anytime.
