Nocturna, now in its 26th year, is an 18+ dark alternative dance night held once every other month or so in Chicago. DJ Scary Lady Sarah spins a highly request-driven mix of current & classic goth, industrial, post-punk, deathrock, ethereal, shoegaze, new wave, ebm, darkwave, dark indie & more. It’s a lot of fun & you should go! 😉

Can Can presents The 8th Annual Halloween Spooktacular!

An extravaganza of live music, cabaret, burlesque and video projected sets inspired by Tim Burton’s “Nightmare Before Christmas.” Starring Can Can’s finest dancers, Orkestar Zirkonium, and many more. 2014 brings many dazzling tricks and treats to the show with all new 3D special effects, choreography, scenic art and much, much more.
About the artists
Voted “Best Show” by Seattle Weekly and winner of Seattle Pride’s “People’s Choice Award,” the Can Can brings their explosive genre-defying dance combined with live orchestra, Orkestar Zirkonium and masterful video projected scenic designs by TJ Davis (Bassnectar, Decibel Festival, City Arts), illustrations by Olivia Knapp.

Continuing on Thursday, October 30th join us for the “All Hallows Eve – Costume Ball” taking place from 8PM – 12AM. Guests will enjoy a night of dancing and live entertainment provided by Cabaret Diva, Nan Mason.  Costumes encouraged.  More details!
