Terror Threads Is a Husband and Wife owned (Rick and Olivia) Horror brand founded in the Chicago Northwest Suburbs. Rick started the brand back in February of 2016 after contemplating doing so for years. We ran our own screen printing shop but mainly printed novelty tees and custom orders for various clients and that got old for us after a while. Sure It paid the bills but we weren’t excited about coming In to work. That had to change. Slowly Rick began to commission our own original Horror designs for Terror Threads while we kept running our day to day business to keep the money coming In to fund our new brand. Design after design our product offerings grew and so did our customer base. Then we started to get licensing deals with some titles we could NEVER Imagine happening like, Halloween and Texas Chainsaw Massacre! Within a year of our official launch Terror Threads became our primary business and there was no looking back!

Screen printed by Brooklyn artist Maya McCarthy, this handsome tote boasts an image from George Wither’s 1635 “A collection of emblemes, ancient and moderne”. The text surrounding the image reads “memento mori,” or, remember you will die. Memento mori also refers to objects, artworks or texts created to encourage one to contemplate their own mortality with that idea that doing so spurs us to lead better lives.

The trick is to hide in plain sight…
In the decaying warehouse performance spaces and dimly lit nightclubs of San Francisco, a predator perfects his rituals of blood and torture, creating vast landscapes of nihilistic hedonism for jaded aesthetes. In the Tenderloin, in a haze of heroin and loss, horror novelist Zoe Starr tries to reassemble the shattered pieces of her life, gradually alienating everybody she has come to trust. Their love is unspoken, and together they will become their own legend. A shared lust for blood begets a nightmare world of post-modern sacrifice, perversion, redemption and slow-decay.
