About Us
Rockin’ Bones Clothing is an independent alternative custom clothing brand with an emphasis on rock n’ roll, heavy metal, occult, & horror themes.
Our products are handmade and/or printed by hand in the USA.
We are Robert & Kendra (a married couple team) & Larry (supervisor kitty).
We were high school sweethearts in the late 90s who later were married, and then went in to business together after dabbling in our own projects. We both love horror movies, pinball, & various types of rock n’ roll and heavy metal.
Rockin’ Bones was founded by Robert in 2001 as a video company. The original website rockinbones.net went live in 2002. Kendra taught herself how to sew and started a label consisting of reconstructed band shirts, bloody vintage clothing, and crazy mini skirts with commercial prints in 2003 and sold her wares on eBay and her website: devilbunnystore.com. Eventually, Kendra grew tired of working with commercially printed fabrics and wanted something completely made from scratch. Kendra & Robert started working with completely blank fabric, screenprinted the designs by hand, and then sewed them into what you see today. The label was officially changed from Devil Bunnies to Rockin’ Bones in 2005. Prior to that, the original rockinbones.net website had a small section with distressed/bleach logo skull shirts and mens t shirts.
Through our growth over the years (we are carried in 50+ retail stores in over a dozen countries), we have still remained true to our DIY roots. Most of our designs are handmade in Austin, TX & all of them are silk screened by hand! Our designs are constructed with soft/stretchy fabrics so that they are versatile enough to wear hanging out, working out, or going out!
