Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of SpookyInc.com (aka GothicChicago.com) by sharing memories with #SPOOKYINC20 AND check out our NEW book “Vicennial – 20 Years Into the Night“ highlighting 20 years of spooky stuff for spooky people.

ANOTHER 10 years goes by and Convergence comes back home to Chicago to celebrate 20 years going strong! We all met up at the fountain for a group photo before headed out to see the shops, art show and bands. We don’t look half bad for converging over 20 years do we 😉

We LOVE Nitzer Ebb and have tried to catch as many shows as we can! I honestly think we have seen them the most out of any other band. This time the show was at the Double Door and the band was PERFECT 🙂 If they come to town, go see them!

Who can deny the spooky factor with Tim Burton and Danny Elfman? Thanks to Ravinia for playing it live. Gave me goosebumps! And a night to remember. We were there in the spirit of things as Beetlejuice and Lydia 😉

#SpookyInc20 – Doombuggies.com 13th Anniversary party (2008)

We owe many a special memory (and long time friends) to Doombuggies.com and when he was having his 13th Anniversary party – we had to be there to support and enjoy in the spooky fun! Swinging Wake Panel of Haunted Mansion specialists, music, dinner, Club 33 tour, merchandise and of course, rides on the Haunted Mansion made this a night to remember! See the photos!

#SpookyInc20 – Transworld Halloween Expo (2007)

What happens when a friend decides he wants to open a Haunt? Well you join him at Transworld Halloween Expo Chicago to learn from the panels, see the new haunt tools and network network network! This time Walt Disney World got a bit more spooky by hosting the Happy Haunts Ball! Friends from SpookyInc, Bat’s Day and Doombuggies gathered to haunt the park. Wish they did this type of event more – it was not-to-miss-fun! See the photos for proof 🙂
