Often described as a modern-day renaissance man, Aurelio Voltaire is an accomplished singer-performer, author, and creator of films, animation, toys, and home decor.
As an internationally touring musician for nearly 30 years, Voltaire is at the forefront of the Gothic and Dark Cabaret genres. Mixing mirth with the macabre, his music becomes increasingly sought after around Halloween.
Walk through a Spirit Halloween and you’re bound to hear some of his songs from the Cartoon Network show, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Voltaire has released 13 full-length studio albums, as well as a collection of his Halloween hits.
When not touring or recording, Voltaire can be seen in his informative and hilarious YouTube series, Gothic Homemaking. Like a young Vincent Price taking over for Martha Stewart, he demonstrates how to turn a boring home into a Gothic lair. The New York Times published a feature on Voltaire, calling him, “The Martha Stewart for Macabre Homemakers” and “a lifestyle guru to people who embrace spookiness in all seasons.”

When you hear the name Elvira only one person comes to mind: Horror icon and quintessential symbol of all things spooky, the one and only Mistress of the Dark. She is by far one of our absolute favs!!!
Back in 1981, who could have imagined the hostess of a local Horror movie show would become a household name? Elvira was the first horror host ever to be syndicated nationally and has emerged as one of today’s most original and outrageous pop culture icons.
Elvira’s reign as ‘Queen of Halloween’ has spanned more than three decades and includes an IMAX movie, music CDs, books and more than a thousand licensed products. She co-wrote and starred in the feature films Elvira, Mistress of the Dark and Elvira’s Haunted Hills.
She has made hundreds of film, television and live appearances – including The Grammy Awards, Saturday Night Live, NBC’s Today Show, The Tournament of Roses Parade and reality shows Search for the Next Elvira, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Counting Cars, Face Off, Epic Ink and Halloween Wars.
She most recently produced and starred in Thirteen Nights of Elvira for Hulu. Played by actress/writer Cassandra Peterson, Elvira has carved out a niche in popular culture that is sure to endure for decades to come.
As if it needed to be said, Tim Burton is one of our very favourite artists!
With a style so distinct the adjective ‘Burtonesque’ was coined, Tim Burton has written, directed, and produced numerous iconic films – encompassing cult favorites, box office smashes and inventive adaptations. Credited with kickstarting the juggernaut of superhero films (Batman, 1989; Batman Returns, 1992), reinvigorating stop-motion animation (Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, 1993; Corpse Bride, 2005), putting a macabre twist on grand scale musicals (Sweeney Todd, 2007), and creating some of cinema’s most iconic antiheroes (Beetlejuice, 1988; Edward Scissorhands, 1990) Burton’s films span numerous genres but all retain his inimitable aesthetic.
Outside of feature films Tim Burton has also turned his hand to music videos, television series, short films and advertisements.

Told by his art teachers that he would never make it as an artist due to his crude style, he quit art and became a full-time magician.[citation needed] After a few years, Roman Dirge‘s passion for art overtook him and he created the comic Lenore, the Cute Little Dead Girl for Xenophobe magazine. The comic strips were later seen by Dan Vado, president of Slave Labor Graphics.
