Heather M. Schilling, Creative Protagonist

Heather Schilling is a Michigan born illustrator who draws with a knife. Her medium of choice is scratchboard. She uses both commercially produced and hand made boards to create various macabre illustrations. Her scratchboard art includes original characters from circus sideshows, a Halloween loving little girl, octosapians and zombies. She is best known for her graceful and sophisticated skeletons.
