Abernathy’s was started in November of 2013 by Becca Nicke and Red Perez. Becca and Red had previously worked managing and vintage and handmade boutique in LeClaire, IA when the pair struck out on their own to create Abernathy’s. The two opened their first location on East 2nd Street in downtown Davenport, and built their weird empire there for the first six years. The flood of 2019 brought in 4 feet of water to their building and a lot of new changes. You can now find them at: 432 West 3rd St. Davenport, IA 52801. Open 10-6 Mon-Fri & 10-3 Saturday and closed Sunday, but we’re always happy to open by appointment!
