DavidB and I went to check out Chicago Comic Con on Saturday and Sunday!
Saturday we spent most of our time meeting celebrities, getting signatures and of course photos. The lines were long but the entertainment was plenty! So many people dressed up! Thanks for letting us take your photos – you all looked great!
The Artist Alley was full of a variety of art and their creators – no two looked alike. We couldn’t resist a few pieces so they followed us home (can’t wait to get them framed). Great getting a chance to talk to so many of you!
We spent more time on Sunday at the panel discussions (we heard Saturdays panels were PACKED!)
James Marsters knows how to handle his audience – he challenged us to ask embarassing questions!
Very funny stories and some thoughtful tips for upcoming actors.
The Evil Dead Reunion was hysterical! The bantor between the panalists was just as funny as their answers to the questions from the audience. NO Evil Dead 4 but YES to an Evil Dead remake!
Later we listened to Peter Mayhew read from his latest children’t book “My Favorite Giant”. He was kind enough to take Star Wars questions from the audience after the reading.
Overall, we had a SUPER time! If you go next year we suggest buying your tickets online to avoid an even longer line, wearing comfortable shoes, bringing a lunch (although their snack bars had pizza, hot dogs, sloppy joes, pretzels etc) and paying for your parking near the sky bridge entrance instead of waiting in line for the machines.
