OCT 22 – Halloween Gathering Festival and Parade 2016
We are thrilled to announce that we are planning the 2nd Annual Halloween Gathering Festival and Parade for Saturday, October 22, 2016!
Join us as we celebrate Halloween as the “artist’s holiday” with an afternoon festival and a magical nighttime parade! During the day, the Chicago Cultural Mile will be alive with family-friendly craft and dance workshops, live performances and a kids’ costume procession in Millennium and Grant Park. As dusk arrives, Chicago’s vast cultural community will dazzle you with a spectacle procession on Columbus from Balbo to Monroe. Drawing together world-renowned institutions including the Field Museum and The Art Institute of Chicago, as well as guilds of local artists and unique organizations like Louder Than a Bomb and Silent Theatre Company, this dramatic display will captivate an audience of all ages!
Visit www.chicagoculturalmile.org if you’d like to participate in the festival or the parade!
